QuickBooks training for agricultural producers

The Farm Management Association, NW and K-State Research and Extension, Ellis County is holding QuickBooks training sessions for agricultural producers in your area. These educational sessions are designed to assist you in learning the basics of QuickBooks software and to develop intermediate and more advanced skills. There are three sessions scheduled in successive weeks. The first session is designed to cover the basics of set up, posting checks and deposits, and operating the program. The second session will continue learning more complex entry posting, reconciling bank statements and basic report generation. The third session will cover more advanced issues like payroll, basic invoicing, and accurate financial statement.

The QuickBooks sessions will be limited to 15 participants. Sessions will be held on the Fort Hays State University Campus on the 2nd floor of Albertson Hall on each Tuesday beginning Nov. 27 and concluding Dec. 11, starting promptly at 6:30 p.m., and ending by 8:30 p.m. Participants can attend any one session or all of them. The Kansas Farm Management Association, NW is sponsoring the sessions to any farmer or rancher at no charge.
