Watertown cattle salesThe South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 1,650 head March 21, compared to 2,030 head last week and 900 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold unevenly. Feeders under 700 pounds sold steady to $1 lower. Feeders over 750 pounds sold $1 to $2 higher. The offering included 55% feeder steers, 45% feeder heifers, with 90% feeders over 600 pounds.
