Texhoma cattle salesThe Texhoma Livestock Auction, Texhoma, Okla., reported receipts of 2,353 head March 21, compared to 4,791 head last week and 3,450 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady. Feeder heifers were steady to $2 lower. Steer calves were steady with a light test. Heifer calves were steady to $2 lower with a light test. Demand for all classes of cattle good. Fill was average to gaunt. The supply consisted of 42% steers 57% heifers with 91% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cow and bull market not reported. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, 485 lbs., 132.00; 510 to 542 lbs., 122.00 to 126.75 (124.53); 5 head, 568 lbs., 122.00; 615 lbs., 112.00 to 119.50 (119.36); 655 to 697 lbs., 109.85 to 117.00 (114.41); 710 to 736 lbs., 105.00 to 106.00 (105.23); 754 to 777 lbs., 104.00 to 106.50 (104.63); 11 head, 807 lbs., 99.25; 13 head, 867 lbs., 98.75; 14 head, 931 lbs., 94.60. Feeder bulls: Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 5 head, 408 lbs., 125.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, 482 lbs., 119.00; 11 head, 520 lbs., 105.50; 556 to 598 lbs., 102.50 to 105.50 (104.52); 663 to 687 lbs., 96.50 to 102.50 (98.40); 706 to 712 lbs., 97.75 to 99.60 (98.72); 761 to 796 lbs., 94.60 to 97.60 (95.94); 809 to 815 lbs., 93.50 to 94.60 (93.93).
