St. Joseph feeder pigs

The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 125 head March 20, compared to 181 head last week, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo.

Compared to last week, feeder pigs weighing 50 to 60 pounds sold steady to $3 higher. Demand was good. Prices paid per head on actual weights.

U.S. 1 to 2: 50 to 60 lbs., 42.25 to 45.75; package 71 lbs., 40.00.

U.S. 2 to 3: package 43 lbs., 30.00.
