Huron cattle auction newsThe Bales Continental Commission Co., Huron, S.D., reported receipts of 1,934 head March 20, compared to 2,778 head last week and 1,610 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers sold steady to $1 lower. Feeder heifers sold unevenly steady. Demand was good with many load lots in the offering. Steers comprised 46% of the run, heifers 54%, with 97% over 600 pounds.
