SPOT CHECK--Bruce Johanning stops to check on seed placement as he finishes up corn planting on his farm in Douglas County, Kan. Johanning said he had one more field to plant and then he would be done with corn. This is the latest that Johanning has ever planted corn, due to the extreme wet weather this spring.
