St. Joseph feeder pigs
The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 100 head May 29, compared to 395 head last week and 694 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo. Compared to last week, on a very light test of mostly all small and very odd packages of pigs, under 50 pounds not well tested, with 50 to 60 pounds mostly steady, and 70 to 80 pounds $5 lower. Prices paid per head on actual weights. U.S. 1 to 2: 2 packages 58 lbs., 45.00; 70 to 80 lbs., 50.00. U.S. 1 to 3: 2 packages 32 lbs., 25.00; package 43 lbs., 35.00.
