Pratt 3 p.m.cattle salesThe Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., May 31, reported estimated receipts of 2,500 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers at 300 to 700 pounds and heifers at 300 to 650 pounds were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers at 700 to 900 pounds were $2 to $3 higher, and 900 to 1000 pounds were steady. Feeder heifers at 650 to 800 pounds were $1 to $2 higher, and 800 to 900 pounds were $2 lower on a very light supply. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 19 head, 649 lbs., 113.25; 27 head, 696 lbs., 119.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 111.00 to 113.85; 750 to 800 lbs., 110.00 to 113.10; 800 to 850 lbs., 108.50 to 112.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 106.00 to 109.60; 900 to 950 lbs., 102.75 to 103.00; 950 to 1000 lbs., 99.00 to 101.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 20 head, 638 lbs., 106.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 101.50 to 105.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 102.50 to 106.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 100.75 to 104.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 96.50 to 99.75; 42 head, 861 lbs., 98.00.
