Most grain bids lowerGrain bids were lower except soybeans which were higher June 18, according to the National Grain Market Summary. Wheat was pressured by warm and dry weather forecast in the plains. soybeans found support from weather concerns in the eastern corn Belt. wheat was mostly 2 to 6 cents lower. corn was mostly 3 to 6 cents lower. sorghum was 2 to 5 cents lower. soybeans were mostly 8 to 11 cents higher. Grains inspected for export for week ending June 14: wheat totaled 16.4 million bushels, up 7.3 million bushels; corn 37.3 million bushels, up 3.0 million bushels; sorghum 0 bushels, up 2.5 million bushels and soybeans 4.9 million bushels, down 7.3 million bushels compared to a week ago. Year to date: wheat totaled 25.5 million bushels down 5.0 million; corn 1641.6 million bushels up 78.2 million; sorghum 114.4 million bushels down 30.5 million and soybeans 993.7 million bushels up 177.1 million. Crop marketing years begin June 1 for wheat and Sept. 1 for corn, sorghum, and soybeans. In export news, there were no new confirmed sales to report. In the futures close, Kansas City July wheat was $5.91 3/4, down 4 1/2 cents. Terminal wheat bids, paid for truck delivery, included Kansas City, $5.92, down 4 cents; Minneapolis, $5.86, down 2 1/4 cents; Portland, $6.02 to $6.05, down 3 to unchanged; St. Louis, $5.36, down 6 cents. Terminal corn bids, U.S. No. 2 yellow, price paid for truck deliver, included: Kansas City, $4.10 to $4.11, down 3 cents; Minneapolis, $3.82, up 6 cents; southern Iowa, $3.93 to $3.98, down 5 to 6 cents; Omaha, $4.12, down 3 to 6 cents. Terminal soybean bids, U.S. No. 1, price paid for truck delivery, included: Kansas City, $8.13, up 8 cents; Minneapolis, $7.79 1/4, up 20 cents; southern Iowa, $7.90 1/4 to $8 1/4, up 3 to 9 1/2 cents; central Illinois processors, $8.20 1/4 to $8.27 1/4, up 8 cents. Kansas City wheat prices June 19, spot, fob track, included: No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, $6.24 1/4 to $6.37 1/4, down 22 1/2 cents; 12% protein, $6.27 1/4 to $6.38 1/4, down 22 1/2 cents; 13% protein, $6.29 1/4 to $6.40 1/4, down 22 1/2 cents; 14% protein, $6.30 1/4 to $6.40 1/4, down 22 1/2 cents. U.S. No. 2 soft red winter wheat was $5.84 1/4 to $5.94 1/4, down 22 1/2 cents. U.S. No. 2 white corn was $5.13 to $5.24, unchanged. Date: 6/19/07
