Watertown cattle sales
The South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 1,150 head June 13, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. No trends were available. The last report was three weeks ago. The offering included 76% feeder steers, 24% feeder heifers, with 100% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 11 head, 686 lbs., 113.50; 14 head, 745 lbs., 111.00; 7 head, 815 lbs., 106.00; 954 to 994 lbs., 96.60 to 99.40 (97.91); 1005 to 1038 lbs., 95.30 to 97.80 (96.44); 1076 to 1081 lbs., 92.90 to 93.30 (93.16); 50 head, 1187 lbs., 89.40. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 9 head, 848 lbs., 99.50; 18 head, 869 lbs., 92.75; 986 to 991 lbs., 91.25 to 92.75 (91.75); 1012 to 1034 lbs., 92.75. Medium frame 1 to 2, 12 head, 754 lbs., 94.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 24 head, 677 lbs., 106.00; 752 to 788 lbs., 99.50 to 101.50 (100.78); 808 to 849 lbs., 98.00 to 101.25 (99.72); 26 head, 859 lbs., 96.00.
