Clovis cattle sales report
The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 1,000 head June 13, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Trade was active and demand good. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, packages 541 to 583 lbs., 113.50 to 121.00; lot 634 lbs., 111.00; package 812 lbs., 102.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, package 465 lbs., 131.00; package 555 lbs., 121.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 105.00 to 110.50; 700 to 800 lbs., 102.00 to 103.50; lot 851 lbs., 96.50. Medium and large frame 2, individual 265 lbs., 142.00; packages 331 to 355 lbs., 130.50 to 135.50; individual 325 lbs., thin 145.00; package 477 lbs., 123.00; package 515 to 538 lbs., 110.50 to 117.00; package 578 lbs., 106.50; few 635 to 691 lbs., 103.50 to 105.00; few 715 to 786 lbs., 101.00 to 102.00; package 885 lbs., 95.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, few 432 to 444 lbs., 110.00 to 118.50; packages 551 to 567 lbs., 106.50 to 107.00; lot 608 lbs., 104.50; 700 to 800 lbs., 90.00 to 97.00.
