Apache livestock sales report
Stockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 2,825 head June 9, compared to 2,455 head last week and 7,048 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder cattle and calves were steady to $1 lower. Weigh-ups were average to full. Head count consisted of 63% steers, 28% heifers, 7% bulls and 83% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. A total of 195 head of cows and bulls sold with 44% going to packers.
