Woodward livestock auction reportThe Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 10,437 head June 1, compared to 11,619 head last week and 8,793 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were weak to $2 lower, over 1000 pounds were $3 lower. Feeder heifers were steady to $1.50 lower. Stocker steers were steady to $1 lower. Steer and heifer calves not well tested. Demand was moderate to good for all classes. Weigh-ups were average to full. The supply was comprised of 52% steers, 44% heifers with 94% over 600 pounds.
