Woodward cattle sales reportThe Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 2,445 head June 29, compared to 4,407 head last week, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Amarillo, Texas. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $2 to $5 higher. Steer calves were $2 to $4 higher. Heifer calves were $1 to $3 higher. Demand was very good for all classes. Fill was average. The supply included 55% steers, 37% heifers with 74% over 600 pounds.
