Woodward livestock auction report
The Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 5,500 head July 20, compared to 4,652 head last week and 3,294 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady to $1 higher. Feeder heifers were steady. Steer and heifers calves were steady, steers lightly tested. Demand was good for all classes. Weigh-ups were average to full. The supply consisted of 62% steers, 33% heifers with 91% over 600 pounds.
