Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales
The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 2,800 head July 26, according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers under 600 pounds not enough for a market test. Steers 600 to 950 pounds were steady on early sales, heifers 600 to 900 pounds were steady to $1 higher. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 112.00 to 115.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 114.00 to 116.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 113.10 to 116.75; 850 to 900 lbs., 112.50 to 115.75; 900 to 950 lbs., 106.25 to 110.25. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1. 600 to 650 lbs., 116.75 to 119.50; 11 head 682 lbs., 112.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 110.50 to 114.00; 750 to 800 108.50 to 112.10; 800 to 850 lbs., 106.35 to 109.50; 48 head 854 lbs., 104.00.
