Online store offers data loggers, chart recorders

In response to growing demand for temperature and/or humidity data loggers and chart recorders by farmers among others, Dickson Company, Addison, Ill., has revamped an online instrument selection system in its new website, www.dicksondata.com. The site offers a wide variety of temperature and humidity monitoring instrumentation available to worldwide farmers.

Highlights include automated data logger and chart recorder selection guides that help farmers quickly drill down to the model with features best-matched to their specific application. It also offers quick links to the most popular chart recorder and data logger models.

Users can enrol in Dickson's automatic calibration schedule reminder service, and order calibration services.

Chris Sorensen, VP of Dickson Company, says there are a number of factors driving the growing demand for temperature and humidity monitoring instruments. For some companies temperature and humidity monitoring is a matter of regulatory compliance, such as in food-related or pharmaceutical industries. Concern for quality drives many in non-regulated industries to also employ temperature and humidity monitoring techniques to protect inventory or to ensure customers receive top quality products.
