Diesel-fueled ATV

DIESEL-FUELED ATV--Arctic Cat, Thief River Falls, Minn., introduces a diesel-fueled ATV, with fuel-saving features and tremendous power designed for farming and agriculture markets. The ATV is equipped with an in-line 700-twin cylinder, SOHC diesel engine providing 50 percent greater fuel mileage over similarly powered conventional ATV's with a peak torque reaching about 2,300 rpm. The engine runs efficiently on six forms of diesel fuel (DF 1, DF 2, DF A Arctic, JP 5, JP 8 and up to B20 Bio Diesel) with a glow plug pre-heater assist for starting. The 700 Diesel is so durable that the first scheduled engine rebuild is suggested at 10,000 hours, amounting to more than 100 years of riding for the average ATV user.
