Apache cattle sales reportStockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 4,299 head July 15, compared to 4,674 head last week and 5,836 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to two weeks ago, feeder cattle and calves were steady to $2 higher. Demand for feeder cattle was good; demand moderate for calves. There was no recent test of trends for slaughter cows and bulls but a higher undertone was noted. A total of 418 cows and bulls sold with 47% going to packers.
