Watertown cattle salesThe South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 850 head June 27, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to two weeks ago, feeder steers were steady. Offerings over 600 pounds made up 99% of the sale. Feeder steers made up 90% of the run, feeder heifers 10%. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 687 lbs., 112.00; 900 to 910 lbs., 97.75 to 102.00 (100.86); 965 to 976 lbs., 97.25 to 98.00 (97.80); 1014 to 1039 lbs., 95.40 to 97.35 (96.10); 31 head, 1046 lbs., 93.85 fleshy; 56 head, 1053 lbs., 96.20. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 7 head, 655 lbs., 106.50; 62 head, 882 lbs., 99.50; 15 head, 981 lbs., 88.75; 25 head, 1040 lbs., 89.10; 8 head, 1078 lbs., 84.25 fleshy. Small and medium frame 1, 7 head, 1033 lbs., 94.75. Feeder Holstein steers: Large frame 3, 5 head, 616 lbs., 99.50.
