Pratt 3 p.m cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 1,000 head June 28, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers at 300 to 600 pounds were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers at 600 to 700 pounds were not tested, and 700 to 1000 pounds were $4 higher in a light supply. Feeder heifers at 600 to 850 pounds were not enough for a market test but a higher undertone was noted.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 700 to 750 lbs., 111.00 to 114.50; 47 head, 772 lbs., 113.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 110.00 to 111.25; 850 to 900 lbs., 109.35 to 113.50; 4 head, 921 lbs., 106.00; 58 head, 957 lbs., 103.60.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 22 head, 644 lbs., 110.75; 73 head, 670 lbs., 112.10; 27 head, 744 lbs., 108.50; 10 head, 782 lbs., 104.50; 24 head, 846 lbs., 104.25.
