Pratt 3 p.m cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., July 12, reported estimated receipts of 800 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with the June 28 sale, feeder steers at 300 to 1000 pounds, and feeder heifers at 300 to 950 pounds, were not enough for a market test, but a higher undertone was noted.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 13 head, 631 lbs., 124.25; 29 head, 685 lbs., 111.00; 72 head, 741 lbs., 120.00; 60 head, 792 lbs., 113.00; 45 head, 830 lbs., 119.10; 850 to 900 lbs., 114.00 to 115.50; 51 head, 927 lbs., 107.75.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 81 head, 643 lbs., 115.75; 26 head, 693 lbs., 112.00; 68 head, 747 lbs., 111.75; 5 head, 768 lbs., 110.00; 59 head, 847 lbs., 110.00; 56 head, 901 lbs., 106.25.
