Springfield cattle sales report

The Springfield Livestock Marketing Center, Springfield, Mo., reported receipts of 1,716 head Jan. 24 compared to 3,422 head two weeks ago and 2,103 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Jefferson City, Kan.

There was no sale last week due to the ice storm.
