Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales
Pratt Livestock Inc., Pratt, Kan., Jan. 25, reported estimated receipts of 2,400 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers 300 to 600 pounds not enough for a market test. Feeder steers 600 to 1000 pounds were $2 lower on early sales. Heifers 600 to 950 pounds were steady to $1 higher. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 22 head, 639 lbs., 98.50; 5 head, 696 lbs., 95.50; 11 head, 786 lbs., 94.00; 23 head, 844 lbs., 95.10; 850 to 900 lbs., 92.85 to 95.85; 900 to 950 lbs., 92.50 to 93.00; 50 head, 984 lbs., 88.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 90.00 to 92.10; 38 head, 693 lbs., 90.00; 10 head, 748 lbs., 90.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 90.50 to 91.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 89.00 to 89.85; 850 to 900 lbs., 86.00 to 89.50; 900 to 950 lbs., 88.25 to 88.50.
