Ada livestock sales report

The Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 1,620 head Dec. 19, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla.

There was no recent comparison for price trends, last week there was no sale because of the ice storm. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were thin to fleshy. The supply included 39% heifers and 24% over 600 pounds.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 11 head, 318 to 347 lbs., 150.00 to 155.00 (151.71); 18 head, 407 to 440 lbs., 125.00 to 130.00 (128.17); 11 head, 458 to 478 lbs., 123.50 to 127.00 (124.11); 501 to 548 lbs., 115.00 to 123.50 (119.98); 11 head, 555 to 595 lbs., 113.00 to 118.00 (115.94); 13 head, 607 to 630 lbs., 106.00 to 111.00 (108.91); 9 head, 677 lbs., 100.00 fleshy; 13 head, 811 to 818 lbs., 95.75 to 96.25 (96.06).
