FARM BILL DEBATE--It should be farmers first and partisan politics second in the farm bill debate, according to Barry Flinchbaugh, K-State Research and Extension. Flinchbaugh gave a farm policy update during the 2007 Kansas Commodity Classic held Nov. 13 in Salina, Kan. Flinchbaugh predicted the farm bill would be on President Bush's desk by New Years Eve.
