West Plains regional salesThe Ozarks Regional Stockyard, West Plains, Mo., reported receipts of 2,700 head Dec. 18, compared to 1,428 head last week and 3,201 head last year, according to the Missouri Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Jefferson City, Mo. There were too few receipts last week for an adequate price comparison. However, compared to two weeks ago, steers were mostly steady, several at 450 to 550 pounds were steady to $2 higher.
