Texhoma livestock sales report
The Texhoma Livestock Auction, Texhoma, Okla., reported receipts of 1,993 head Dec. 19, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, there were no recent sales for price trends. Demand was good for all classes. Fill was average. The supply included 73% over 600 pounds and 26% heifers. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. A total of 445 cows and bulls sold with 26% going to packers. The supply included several consignments of replacement cows that sold to very good demand.
