Aberdeen cattle sales reportThe Hub City Livestock Auction, Aberdeen, S.D., reported receipts of 5,199 head Dec. 19, compared to 5,194 head last week and 5,482 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers sold mostly $3 higher, with a moderate undertone. Feeder heifers sold steady to $3 higher. Steers comprised 56%, heifers 43%, with 79% over 600 pounds.
