Watertown livestock salesThe South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 1,950 head Dec. 12, compared to 1,500 head last week and 1,600 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers sold $2 to $3 lower. In a light test, feeder heifers were $1 to $2 lower. Feeder steers made up 75% of the run, feeder heifers 25%, with 60% over 600 pounds.
