Ada livestock sales report
The Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,025 head Dec. 5, compared to 2,535 head last week and 2,028 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady. Feeder heifers were $2 lower. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. Demand was good on all classes. The supply included 43% heifers and 34% over 600 pounds.
