Wyobraska cattle sales report

The combined sales volume of Wyoming, western Nebraska and western North and South Dakota auctions for the week ending Dec. 1, totaled 8,100 head, compared to 3,725 head last week and 3,275 head last year, according to the USDA-Wyoming Department of Agriculture Market News, Torrington, Wyo.

Compared to last week at Wyoming auctions, steer calves under 650 pounds sold steady to $5 higher, heifers under 600 pounds were steady to $6 higher, instances were $7 to $10 higher at Torrington.
