Pratt livestock sales reportPratt Livestock Sales Inc., Pratt, Kan., reported receipts of 2,941 head Nov. 29, compared to 3,966 head two weeks ago, and 1,566 head last year, according to the USDA-Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared to last week, feeder steers at 300 to 600 pounds were in a limited supply and were firm to $2 higher, while those at 600 to 950 pounds were steady. Heifers 300 to 600 pounds in a extremely limited test were $2 to $5 higher, 600 to 950 pounds were steady in a light supply. Trade was active, demand was good. Slaughter cows were steady. Slaughter bulls were $2 higher. Receipts included 59% 600 pounds and over, 30% 600 pounds and under, 11% cows and bulls. The feeder supply included 66% steers and 34% heifers.
