Pratt 3 p.m cattle sales

Pratt Livestock Sales Inc., Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 1,700 head Dec. 6, according to the USDA-Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers at 300 to 600 pounds were not enough for a market test as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers at 600 to 650 pounds were $3 higher, and 650 to 800 pounds were $2 to $5 lower in a light supply. Feeder heifers at 600 to 800 pounds were $3 to $6 lower in an extremely light supply.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1 600 to 650 lbs., 109.50 to 113.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 104.00 to 107.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 104.00 to 106.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 104.75 to 106.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 106.10 to 107.25; 28 head, 884 lbs., 108.25; 900 to 950 lbs., 106.10 to 107.75; 3 head, 962 lbs., 102.50.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 97.25 to 99.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 98.25 to 101.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 100.00 to 103.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 100.00 to 102.25; 8 head, 806 lbs., 101.50; 36 head, 880 lbs., 98.00; 28 head, 916 lbs., 96.50; 28 head, 955 lbs., 95.25.
