Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,535 head Nov. 29, compared to 2,340 head two weeks ago and 1,913 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to the previous sale two weeks ago, feeder steers were steady to $3 higher. Feeder heifers were $2 to $3 higher. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium. The supply included 49% heifers and 19% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were $2 higher. A total of 670 cows and bulls sold with 33% going to packers.
