Acting chief takes over Nebraska Farm Service Agency

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP)--The acting head of the Nebraska Farm Service Agency will be taking over.

Milton Rogers, who farms near Chappell, has been acting executive director since October, when Brian Wolford left the position.

Rogers has been with the agency since 2001 and previously served as the agency's state committee chairman.

In a note of congratulations, 3rd District Congressman Adrian Smith says Rogers' extensive background in production agriculture and dedication to Nebraska should serve Rogers and the state well.
