Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sale
The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 3,200 head Aug. 23, according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers under 600 pounds not enough for a market test. Feeder steers 700 to 1000 pounds were $1 to $3 higher. Heifers 600 to 850 pounds were steady to firm in a light supply. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 8 head, 644 lbs., 117.00; 52 head, 684 lbs., 120.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 118.25 to 120.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 116.00 to 116.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 116.00 to 118.60; 850 to 900 lbs., 112.85 to 117.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 107.85 to 110.75; 950 to 1000 lbs., 112.00 to 112.10. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 113.50 to 115.00; 31 697 lbs., 113.75; 700 to 750 lbs., 113.50 to 117.10; 750 to 800 lbs., 112.25 to 113.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 107.75 to 110.00.
