Solution Days 2007 explores new trends in ag and field researchNebraska Solution Days 2007 will provide practical solutions to the changing agricultural landscape. The annual educational event will be conducted at the Syngenta Learning Center site, which is located three miles north of York on U.S. Highway 81. Farm operators and professionals supporting corn and soybean production in Nebraska are invited to attend on Aug. 28 or Aug. 29. This event is designed to provide realistic solutions for achieving higher crop yields while keeping production costs economical. Each day, participants will hear and see the latest information from University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty and industry crop production and protection specialists. Solution Days 2007 is sponsored by NK, Syngenta Crop Protection and the Nebraska Soybean Board, in partnership with UNL Extension, a division of the university's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The program runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day with in-field presentations. Presentations will include: Management Considerations for Continuous Corn, Generation Next: Building a Better Plant, Soybeans: Plant Less Get More, and Water and Nutrients: Making them Count. In addition, a biofuels panel will present a special program during lunch.
