Presho feeder cattle reportThe Presho Livestock Auction, Presho, S.D., reported receipts of 400 head Aug. 9, compared to 2,800 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Trends were not applicable as this was a light run. The offering included 62% steers, 38% heifers, with 100% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 825 to 830 lbs., 116.00 to 116.25 (116.19); 905 to 926 lbs., 109.50 to 111.75 (111.38). Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 24 head, 685 lbs., 123.75; 19 head, 819 lbs., 110.35; 7 head, 896 lbs., 107.75. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 16 head, 634 lbs., 118.25; 23 head, 703 lbs., 118.25; 58 head, 914 lbs., 110.70; 8 head, 989 lbs., 105.25.
