Sorghum Guard

SORGHUM GUARD--Downer Milo Guard, Ransom, Kan., announces its improved Downer Milo Guard with three-eighths-inch thick, UV-resistant, heavy duty plastic crop catching fingers to guide the crop into the header. This reduces shatter loss and saves grain. The Downer Milo Guard is proven effective in high population sorghum fields. The tapered plastic at the cutter bar allows greater sickle cutting width, while 17- and 13-inch staggered fingers allow crop flow into the header. A 12-degree downward bend allows the finger to be lower than the cutter bar. It's also available for John Deere 4-inch drapers. For more information, call 785-731-5634, or visit www.downermiloguard.com.
