St. Joseph feeder pigsThe St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 75 head Aug. 7, compared to 279 head last week and 497 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo. There were not enough feeder pigs on hand to test the market. Supplies were light due to extremely hot temperatures and quality was less than average. Prices paid per head on actual weights.
