Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sale

Pratt Livestock Sales Inc., Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 4,000 head, as of 3 p.m., Aug. 9, according to the USDA-Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers under 600 pounds were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers at 700 to 1,000 pounds were steady, and heifers at 600 to 850 pounds were steady to $1 higher.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 30 head, 615 lbs., 122.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 120.00 to 120.25; 700 to 750 lbs., 116.75 to 119.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 115.25 to 118.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 115.00 to 118.85; 850 to 900 lbs., 113.50 to 116.75; 900 to 950 lbs., 108.85 to 112.00; 950 to 1000 lbs., 106.75 to 108.85.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 116.00 to 116.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 113.85 to 117.60; 700 to 750 lbs., 112.85 to 116.25; 750 to 800 lbs., 109.00 to 111.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 108.75 to 112.10; 11 head, 859 lbs., 108.00.
