Grain prices mixed

Grain prices were mixed as soybean bids were moderately lower, according to the National Grain Market Summary, Aug. 6.

wheat was higher on good export demand and fears of tightening world and U.S. stocks supported the market. Soybeans were lower after good rains over the weekend in Minnesota, Iowa and the eastern Corn Belt will improve crop conditions.

wheat was 8 to 13 cents higher. Corn mostly unchanged to 1 cent lower. Soybeans were mostly 11 to 16 cents lower.
