Woodward livestock salesThe Woodward livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 5,440 head April 20, compared to 4,045 head last week and 9,420 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were $1 lower. Feeder heifers 650 to 800 pounds were $1 to $3 higher, heavier weights $1 lower. Steer calves, $2 lower. Heifer calves were steady. Demand were moderate to good for all classes. Weigh-ups were average to full. The supply were comprised of 60% steers, 32% heifers with 82% over 600 pounds.
