T.H.G.--the Torque Handling GroupTesting horse power load on engine to gear head on down hole pumps. Handling testing efficiency of down hole pumps to engine output of horse power. Getting the best efficiency of fuel used to pump water to farm crops. Those three things describe the Torque Handling Group. With the high price of fuels, keeping track of where your cost is going is essential. By knowing the efficiency of engine and well combination, you could cut fuel cost from 10 percent to 50 percent. With this test you could find out, fuel use, water flow, and efficiency of your irrigation system. THG can handle drive lines from WL36 to WL55 with lengths up to 48-inches. WL61 to WL71 patterns will be available in the future as needed. Flood and sprinkler systems can be tested. Water meter and pressure gauge are required for efficiency test. Test based on accuracy of water meter. Fuel test on gallons per hour can be tested on diesel engines. Gas engine fuel testing will be done in the future, as soon as equipment for testing can be found. Water meter testing may be available in the future. Torque transducer built by Lebow Products, designed for Gier Diesel/THG for the testing of torque loads from irrigation engine to gear heads on down hole pump. With this information water flow and the efficiency of the engine load can be figure and possibly fuel consumption improved. For more information call 620-227-2926 ask for Richard. We will be at the 3i Show. 0 None None Date: 4/23/07
