South Central direct sheepThe South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending April 20, showed receipts of 3,100 feeder lambs and 300 slaughter lambs, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, San Angelo, Texas. No recent comparison was available on feeder lambs. Slaughter ewes and replacement ewes were not tested. There were no slaughter meat goats. Trading and demand moderate. Feed is plentiful now and producers are in no hurry to market lambs. Feeder lambs: Texas, 3100, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 75 to 85 lbs., 110.00; 90 to 95 lbs., 100.00 to 100.25; 115 to 120 lbs., 95.00.
