Pratt 3 p.m. cattle salesPratt Livestock Sales Inc., Pratt, Kan., Sept. 21, reported estimated receipts of 1,600 head,, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers 300 to 600 pounds not established as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers 600 to 850 pounds not enough for a market test, 850 to 1000 pounds were steady to $2 higher on early sales. Feeder heifers 600 to 1000 pounds not enough for a market test, although a lower undertone was noted. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 13 head, 608 lbs., 117.00; 41 head, 693 lbs., 114.00; 74 head, 725 lbs., 113.00; 13 head, 830 lbs., 112.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 111.00 to 114.75; 30 head, 935 lbs., 110.10; 950 to 1000 lbs., 103.25 to 106.25. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 109.00 to 110.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 106.00 to 109.50; 66 head, 804 lbs., 105.25; 9 head, 859 lbs., 103.50; 7 head, 923 lbs., 103.75; 48 head, 953 lbs., 98.00.
