Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

Pratt Livestock Inc., Pratt, Kan., Oct. 26, reported estimated receipts of 2,000 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers at 300 to 600 pounds were not established as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers at 600 to 950 pounds were $2 to $5 higher on early sales. Feeder heifers at 600 to 750 pounds not enough for a market test, although a lower undertone was noted, 750 to 800 pounds were $1 higher, and 800 to 950 pounds were steady in a light test.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, 690 lbs., 108.50; 11 head, 727 lbs., 106.25; 750 to 800 lbs., 104.75 to 108.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 105.50 to 109.10; 850 to 900 lbs., 105.10 to 109.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 103.00 to 105.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 98.75 to 102.25; 700 to 750 lbs., 98.00 to 101.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 99.25 to 102.00; 5 head, 822 lbs., 94.50; 12 head, 863 lbs., 101.00; 12 head, 928 lbs., 94.50.
