St. Joseph feeder pig auctionThe St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., Nov. 21, reported receipts of 475 head, compared to 292 head last week and 264 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo. Compared to last week, feeder pigs sold $2 to $7 higher. Quality was very good and a good test was given on several weight groups. Prices paid per head on actual weights. U.S. 1 to 2: package 35 lbs., 20.00; package 47 lbs., 28.00; 55 to 57 lbs., 35.00 to 36.00; 64 to 69 lbs., 35.00 to 37.25; 83 to 87 lbs., 36.00 to 41.50; package 90 lbs., 43.00. U.S. 2 to 3: package 38 lbs., 12.00; package 43 lbs., 16.00; 67 to 68 lbs., 22.50 to 24.00. Date: 11/22/06
