South Central Direct sheepThe South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending May 19 showed receipts of 1,500 feeder lambs, according to the USDA Market News Service, San Angelo, Texas. Compared with last week, feeder lambs were weak to $2 lower. Slaughter and replacement ewes and slaughter meat goats were not tested. Trading and demand moderate for moderate supplies. Feeder lambs: Texas, 1500 head, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, new crop 70 to 80 lbs., 103.00 to 105.00. Date: 5/25/06
